Juan-Pablo Ortiz is a Senior Advisor at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized global advisory firm serving family enterprises. Cambridge Advisors and Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise, an education and research institute, are divisions of Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG), a global organization founded in 1989. It is devoted to helping families and ownership groups navigate the new economy and achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.

Drawing on his background as a management consultant, investor, entrepreneur, and CEO, Mr. Ortiz advises family enterprises on strategic planning, business model innovation, and business transformation. As an organizational coach, he guides senior executives and family business members in achieving their goals and successfully transitioning into new roles. Mr. Ortiz is dedicated to creating value for organizations by integrating strategic thinking with personal development.

Mr. Ortiz currently serves as Corporate CEO of Alimenta, a multinational group. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of four companies, with key objectives focused on growth and global expansion. Prior to this, he was Chief Business Officer at Polymath Ventures, a venture builder where he was responsible for launching new digital businesses in partnership with leading corporations. As Founder and CEO of Ataria, a venture capital fund, he executed over 37 investments globally and partnered with entrepreneurs to launch technology companies in Latin America. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ortiz was a Senior Engagement Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led teams on company-wide transformation initiatives for large US corporations.

Mr. Ortiz holds an MBA, a PhD(c) in Economics, and an MA in Economics from Stanford University. He earned an MPA in International Development from Harvard University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima, Peru. Mr. Ortiz has been recognized as an outstanding instructor in Micro and Macroeconomics at Harvard and Stanford. Mr. Ortiz also engages in mentoring entrepreneurs with organizations such as StartX and Endeavor.
