Nicole Stephen is a senior advisor at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized, international advisory firm serving family enterprises. Cambridge Advisors and Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise, an education and research institute, are divisions of Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, a global organization founded in 1989. It is devoted to helping families and ownership groups navigate the new economy and achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.
Dr. Stephen has over 20 years of executive coaching experience and is the founder of Miramar Group. Dr. Stephen works with newly transitioned C-suite executives and high potential individuals looking to move into the executive ranks of their current organizations. Quick to build trust and understand the business context, Dr. Stephen uses a pragmatic, real-world approach to coaching, which enables her clients to identify the greatest levers that will have the most profound impact on improving performance. Dr. Stephen also works with organizations on the issues of assessment, succession management, diversity & inclusion, team effectiveness, leadership, and organizational development. Dr. Stephen’s representative clients include American Steel and Aluminum, Cisco, First Republic Bank, Madorra, Royal Dutch Shell, UNDP, and Workday.
Before founding Miramar Group, Dr. Stephen was the Director of Talent Performance Engagement at Electronic Arts (EA) and served as the Director of Organizational Development for Bose. Dr. Stephen was a consultant and executive coach for PDI Ninth House in Boston, MA and in the Hague, Netherlands, as well as a strategic consultant for Linkage Incorporated. She consulted to the American Institutes for Research in Washington D.C. and has taught at Virginia Polytechnic and State University.
Dr. Stephen holds a MA and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech and a BS in Applied Psychology from Ithaca College. Dr. Stephen is certified to administer and interpret a broad range of assessment tools and is a fellow at the Institute of Coaching at McLean, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
