Verónica Tapia is a senior advisor at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group-Brazil, a highly specialized, international advisory, education and research organization serving family enterprises founded in 1989. It is devoted to helping families and ownership groups navigate the new economy and achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.

Mrs. Tapia leads complex transformation projects with family enterprises in Latin America and other regions, including establishing and renewing governance structures, business strategy, and strengthening teamwork and communication She is a trained Governance Officer by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).

Prior to joining Cambridge Family Enterprise Group–Brazil, Mrs. Tapia worked at Smith&Nephew, where she led the integration of two acquired family-owned Brazilian distributors into the global business. She also worked at Booz & Co. in London and New York and held the positions of marketing innovation manager at AstraZeneca in the UK.

Mrs. Tapia earned her MBA from Cranfield School of Management in the UK and her BA in Industrial and Systems Engineering, cum laude, from Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese and proficient in French.
