Jose E. Chueca is an associate partner at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized, international advisory firm serving family enterprises. It is devoted to helping families and ownership groups navigate the new economy and achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth

A native of Peru, Mr. Chueca has advised national and international family-owned groups for over 30 years in Peru in topics such as strategy, governance, compliance, tax and finance, recognized as a very experienced top executive and consultant.

In addition to his collaboration with CFEG, Mr. Chueca is currently CEO of Colcas Consulting, a Peruvian Business Consulting Firm, Chairman of the Advisory Board of SKAVA in Peru. Mr. Chueca also sits on many other Board of Directors, including Intipukio, INCIMMET, Century 21 Innova, Asociación Pataz (NGO focused on social responsibility of Compañia Minera Poderosa), IPAE – Instituto Peruano de Acción Empresarial, Empresarios por la Integridad, Perú Sostenible (NGO that activates companies as agents of change to promote sustainable development in Peru), among others.

He has also served as Chairman, Board member and Advisory Board member to a variety of other Peruvian companies in the Mining, Agroindustrial, Infrastructure, Metals and Oil & Gas sectors in Peru such as the Dutch Engineering company Arcadis, the Brazilian infrastructure fund Patria Investments, Cementos Portland and Votorantim Metais Cajamarquillla, both companies that belong to the Brazilian family-owned conglomerate Grupo Votorantim and CBB Perú, ICBB Perú and CIESA, companies that belong to Cementos Bio Bio Chile.

Mr. Chueca was also a Professor at the Postgraduate School of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences-UPC in the area of Economics and Law and publishes from time-to-time articles on relevant and current business topics in the local press.

Mr. Chueca holds a degree in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, Lima, a Masters in Law from Harvard University Law School in addition to being certified by the University of Piura, Lima in the Program of Senior Executives. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
