Dr. Steve Stulck is an advisor to family enterprises on strategies for the successful continuity of their enterprises. He is a principal at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized international advisory firm serving family enterprises. Dr. Stulck advises multigenerational family enterprises of diverse sizes, generations, and industries. He advises on issues of family governance; next generation leadership assessment and development; individual career and life planning; executive coaching; building effective leadership and ownership teams; organizational change; and leading and managing change initiatives.

With extensive experience working in cross-cultural settings, Dr. Stulck facilitates processes for dialogue and decision-making among family owners and managers which lead to effective decisions and coordinated action. He is recognized for facilitating group dynamics and difficult conversations among family members that otherwise impede positive relationships and forward momentum in the family and business. Dr. Stulck coaches executives and their successors on a wide range of issues; he offers perceptive feedback, a clear structure for self-reflection, and the opportunity to develop their own models of effective leadership. He works with business leaders to transform their management teams into high-performing, coherent units with a shared vision. He designs performance management systems for family and non-family employees.

Dr. Stulck frequently lectures at conferences, education programs and private family meetings. His teaching focuses on interpersonal dynamics, methodologies that support high-performing teams, effective approaches to design and implement organizational change, leadership behaviors that instill trust and empower collaborate decision-making, and building conscious and deliberate leadership. He serves as a facilitator at Harvard Business School’s Families in Businessprogram, a six-day course that examines pivotal issues facing family enterprises.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Stulck had over 25 years of international experience as an executive at several major companies and as an advisor to business owners, CEOs and senior managers.Dr. Stulck earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Adult Learning from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, his M.A. from Ohio State University, and his B.A. from the University of California. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
