Eduardo Müller Borges is a senior advisor and associate partner at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized global advisory firm serving family enterprises. Cambridge Advisors and Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise, an education and research institute, are divisions of Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, a global organization founded in 1989. It is devoted to helping families and ownership groups navigate the new economy and achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.

Mr. Borges is an advisor to family enterprises on the strategies, governance models, and business models required for their successful, long-term continuity. He advises on issues of corporate governance, corporate growth, innovation strategies, digital transformation, portfolio design and performance, M&A strategies, succession transitions, and next generation development. In addition, he advises investors and entrepreneurs of early stage, fast growing, tech startup companies, including serving on their advisory boards, throughout Europe, the U.S., and Latin America.

Mr. Borges is a seasoned finance professional with thirty years of experience in international finance, specifically in corporate and investment banking, venture capital, M&A, structured finance, and debt capital markets. He has held a variety of senior advisory and senior executive roles internationally, including most recently as Global Head of M&A for Santander Bank. He has a strong technical background in M&A including negotiation, structuring, and deal-making. He has deep experience scaling and positioning businesses in industries of the future to be profitable, value-creating, and aligned with the interests of the owners, board, and management.

Mr. Borges earned his BS in Business from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil. He completed the Santander Corporate Leadership Program at IESE (Spain, China, and Brazil), the High-Performance Leadership Course at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the Corporate Financial Strategy in Global Markets program at INSEAD. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
