In collaboration with the John Molson Executive Centre at Concordia University, we bring you the Cultivating Your Family Legacy Workshop.

When it comes to legacy planning, communication between stakeholders is essential.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about  leading-edge legacy research and have the opportunity to build and practice communication skills for conversations with your family to help in creating your Legacy Action Plan.

With the Customized Coaching Package Option, you’ll also benefit from one-on-one coaching to integrate your learnings, get feedback and make progress in cultivating your family’s legacy. The Package includes the Workshop plus 20-hours of individual, customized coaching.

Dr. James Grubman

Dr. James Grubman

Dr. Jim Grubman is a Senior Advisor and Partner in the Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, a leading global family enterprise consulting firm based in Massachusetts, USA. He is a consultant to multigenerational families and their advisors about the issues that arise around wealth in families. Dr. Grubman is the author of the renowned book, Strangers in Paradise: How Families Adapt to Wealth Across Generations, and co-author with Dennis T. Jaffe, PhD of Cross Cultures: How Global Families Navigate Change Across Generations.  He has been published widely and quoted extensively by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNBC, and many other publications, including Malcolm Gladwell’s book, David and Goliath.  Dr. Grubman holds Fellow status in the Family Firm Institute and the Purposeful Planning Institute and is a member of several US and international estate planning organizations.

Dr. Pascale Michaud is an advisor to family enterprises throughout the world on strategies and governance models for their successful continuity. She advises multigenerational family enterprises on issues of corporate growth, business strategy and governance, innovation management, digital preparedness, leadership transitions, next generation development, family governance, and family and corporate philanthropy.

Rilla Clark, BA, BEd, MSc

Expertise: Leadership development. She is an executive coach, facilitator and speaker. She coaches senior executives in developing effective change leadership strategies and building integrated plans to engage and develop others in the vision. She accelerates transition for senior managers and executives as they step into roles with expanded scope and accountabilities as well as designs, facilitates and coaches custom client programs.
