Verónica Tapia is a senior advisor at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group-Brazil, a highly specialized, international advisory, education and research organization serving family enterprises. Founded in 1989, it is devoted to helping families achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.
Mrs. Tapia assists families on family and ownership governance and supports the family enterprises on setting up their governance structures, strengthening strategic planning processes, improving their commercial strategy and optimizing their operational performance to achieve their goals.
Prior to joining Cambridge Family Enterprise Group–Brazil, Mrs. Tapia worked at Smith & Nephew, where she led the integration of two acquired family-owned Brazilian distributors into the global business before setting up the company’s local marketing function. She also worked at Booz & Co. in London and New York and held the positions of marketing innovation manager at AstraZeneca in the UK and strategic planning manager in IMSA (now Ternium) in Mexico.
Mrs. Tapia earned her M.B.A. from Cranfield School of Management in the UK and her B.A. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, cum laude, from Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese and proficient in French.
