Renan Toenjes is an analyst at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group-Brazil, a highly specialized, international advisory, education and research organization serving family enterprises. Founded in 1989, it is devoted to helping families achieve multigenerational success for their families, enterprises, and financial wealth.
At Cambridge, Mr. Toenjes has focused his work on governance projects across multiple sectors, especially on the establishment of Board of Directors, Family and Shareholders Councils. To support those councils’ activities, Mr. Toenjes has assisted on the elaboration of council’s regiments, shareholder agreements, family constitutions, business performance reports and the creation of authority policies.
Prior to joining Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, Mr. Toenjes founded ValueSights, a marketplace connecting independent consultants with medium and large-sized business. He has also worked as an intern at Falconi, a Brazilian consultancy firm specialized in management by results, and as a research assistant at Insper’s Center for Strategic Studies.
Mr. Toenjes has earned a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Business Administration, cum laude, from Insper and a B.S. in Social Sciences from University of São Paulo, in Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
